Aviation has always found inspiration in family passion and genius. By building a toy resembling a plane, Mr Wright inspired his sons to create the first aircraft ever and to defy the magic of the skies.
In the same way, Franck Burnet inherited the “aviation virus” and his taste for beautiful materials when his father Jacques Burnet showed him the interior of a “Tupolev 134” he had recently designed for the “Bulgarian National Company”.
Woodworker by trade and fascinated by the conquest of the air, Jacques Burnet created Burnet Interiors so that he could dedicate himself to the design of prestigious aircraft interiors. This was the year 1966 and the beginning of business air travel.
“The future of business air travel is in Geneva”... In 1988, soon after setting up his first company “Ets J. Burnet” in Le Bourget, Jacques Burnet – an intuitive and visionary man – sets up another company “TSA Burnet” in Geneva. He believes this city is the future home of corporate aviation.
In 1995, Franck begins to work with his father and takes over the controls of the family business in 1998. He's now the proud pilot of a great company, european leader in aircraft interior design. |
